Have you girls ever watched Wayne Goss or Goss Makeup Artist on Youtube? Well, I do. He's is one of my fave youtube Gurus next to Lisa Eldridge. You might ask, what's the connection? It was through him that I found out about Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Sprays.

I have always wanted to get my hands on some of the most raved makeup finishing sprays. So when Mary Kay Philippines sent me one, I was ecstatic! And even more exciting is that they teamed up with Skindinavia! 

If you are a makeup enthusiast like me, I am sure you also have a growing collection. I don't have a room all to myself since I am married. So I have to share the room with my hubby and our two boys.  Because of limited space in our room, I don't have my own vanity area.

So you're probably curious on how I store my makeup. My solution? I bought a couple of supplies at Ace Hardware and made my own shelves.

It's fairly easy to do, I just mounted the Angle bars on our wall and placed the panels on top. But I used a drill to make a hole in wall to avoid creating cracks.


Since I am a freelance makeup artist, I placed all of the makeup that I use on clients in my Caboodles Makeup Train Case. But I don't bring this case every time I have gig. I only hand pick products from this case if it is just for one or two clients and place it in a separate cosmetic bag.

I love to use Cosmetic Bags from Clinique simply because they're pretty and sturdy. The Big pink cosmetic bag is where I store makeup products that are new and never opened. The Small pink bag is where I store makeup products that I am currently testing for review purposes. The Big Bronze bag is where I store makeup products that I personally use.

As for my nail products, I use a couple of this slim white trays. I gave away some of my nail polish, especially ones that I don't use, to friends and my younger sister. So, it keeps my nail polish collection to a minimum. I don't apply nail lacquer that often anyway.

I keep some makeup tools and hair accessories in these plastic Vanity cases. It also includes some makeup that I seldom use, even empty makeup boxes that I haven't thrown out yet.

A couple of months ago I received this eyeshadow palette as present from my father-in-law, together with other Catrice Cosmetics products which I shared with you HERE.

I have been really enjoying this palette for over a month now since it's the first eyeshadow palette I own that has all neutral shades in it.

I was absolutely ecstatic when I found out that Orly has a Mani Minis Collection. These tiny nail polish bottles are absolutely adorable and very handy to carry around. I think buying a couple of these is an awesome gift idea for your girl friends.

Hey ladies, August is about to end which means Homecoming in the US is fast approaching. For those who aren't familiar, Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back alumni of a school. It most commonly refers to a tradition in many universities, colleges and high schools in the USA. After a football game it is usually followed by a Dance (source wikipedia).

This a makeup look that I did for my younger sister earyly last year. It was for a Debut celebration she was attending and I think this look would also be perfect for Homecoming.

Here's a more neutral option, which is also another of my older works. I still haven't got around to creating a tutorial for this for because I honestly just forgot the shades I used for this look. LOL

I've used this powder about three times now, so keep on reading to know my take about this product.

I am one of those ladies who prefer to use an eyebrow pencil since it is much easier and faster to apply. However, an eyebrow powder usually gives the most natural look. Most of the time I just use a matte brown eyeshadow if I feel like grooming my brows with powder.




I have tried using the In2it Brow Powder and the Wet n Wild Brow kit. Both comes with brown shades that have too much yellow undertone to it. I am glad the Catrice Eyebrow Set has a slightly ashy undertone, because their shades are the closest match to my natural eyebrow color.

Would definitely recommend this to those fond of using eyebrow powder.  Apart from the affordable price, it has a quality that delivers.

I am not really keen on eye creams but I have tried a few. I was initially looking for an eye cream that could help smooth out the fine lines on my under eye area. I bought the Ziaja Eye Cream 6 months ago, so I've used it for quite a while since it is the only eye cream I currently have.
