Ziaja Eye Cream

7:01:00 PM

I am not really keen on eye creams but I have tried a few. I was initially looking for an eye cream that could help smooth out the fine lines on my under eye area. I bought the Ziaja Eye Cream 6 months ago, so I've used it for quite a while since it is the only eye cream I currently have.

Product Info from Ziaja

Indications: Wrinkle prone skin
Action: Gentle cream-gel formula for everyday care of the delicate skin around the eye area.
Visibly smoothes wrinkles and prevents their formation.
Moisturizes, tones and reduces puffiness.
Fragrance- free.

Directions: Apply a small amount of cream around the eye area and gently massage in.

Key ingredients:
vitamin E

Volume: 15 ml / 0.5 fl oz

Retail Price: PHP 150.00 at Beauty Bar

comes in a squeeze type tube

It is a white cream product

The expiration date is printed on the tube

What I like about it...
* inexpensive
* very moisturizing
* fragrance-free
* feels very light on skin
* not greasy and not sticky at all
* easily absorbs on skin
* a little goes a long way, I only need a pea size amount for the entire eye area
* did not experience allergies or irritation
* reduces puffiness, I haven't been sleeping for the past few months since I just gave birth. And I noticed that this does help reduce puffiness
* convenient and hygienic packaging
* expiration date is printed on the tube

What I don't like...
* I have been using this for over 6 months day and night prior to applying moisturizer, but I did not notice any change on my under eye fine lines.

My rating: 3 / 5

I did not notice any major changes on my eye area but it does a great job of moisturizing it. I think it prevented wrinkles from forming on my eye area since I did not see any wrinkle forming apart from the ones I already have.

I decided to just finish this tube and will try the Ziaja Marine Algae Smoothing Eye Cream next. It costs a bit more compared to this variant. I think it costs around Php 200+ so, I am hoping that will do a better job. ^_^

Until next time.

Cheerios!

  1. I have been this for the past 3 months and I agree with you, it doesn't do anything with the existing lines. But I like how it keeps my undereye moisturized. :)

  2. I have to say that I'm not a big fan of ziaja. Used to have one of their moisturizers about 4 years ago, and My skin broke out in zits... :(
