December Haul 2011

9:54:00 AM

I've been buying a lot of makeup stuff recently, simply because I needed it for my clients. I've been so busy with makeup gigs ever since December started.  I'm grateful that a lot of ladies contacted me to do their hair and makeup and now all my December weekends are fully booked! (thank you Lord). Which explains why I haven't updated my blog as much as I used to.

Now on to the good stuff...

I bought different shades and types of foundation
(liquid, cream and powder)

Rimmel London Natural Sensation All Day Makeup Foundation in Ivory
Fanny Serrano Two-Way Cake Foundation in Organza
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in C40
Ben Eye Cream Foundation in Creamy Beige
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pressed Powder in Sandstorm
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Cream Foundation in Sand Beige

other makeup stuff

Maybelline New York Revitalizing Lipstick in Orchid
LA Colors Matte Lipstick in Mango Tango
Tigi Bed Head Fatlip Lip Liner in Pink
Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Stay On Lip Liner in Tiramisu

Alba Un-Petroleum Lip Balm in Tangerine
MAC Cremeblend Blush in Tea Petal

Victoria Vogue 32 Cosmetic Wedges
Japonesque 8 Pocket Brush Case
Watson's Medium sized round brush
Finesse Maximum Hold Hairspray

More Hair Stuff

Nandi Solar Rollers
Vidal Sassoon Mini Ceramic Curling Iron 25mm
iM Featherweight Head Wraps

I would like to thank my older brother and his wife for buying the VS mini ceramic curling iron during their 1 week stay in Hong Kong. The VS Ceramic Curling Iron Pink Series is available locally and retails for Php 1,599.75 at Watsons.

Also, thank you to my dear hubby for buying the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation for me. He said it's the first item for my Christmas gift. He bought it at Rustan's Ayala Cebu for Php 1,700. He also bought me a medium sized bag from Payless Shoe Source and a new Laptop Bag which I really needed. (all part of his Christmas gifts for me). He said, another gift is on the way...hehehe.

Until next time.

Cheerios!

  12. I really got a bad experience when it comes to liquid foundation. One time I applied it on my face and I was meeting someone and then it started running down my face with the sweat. I was so embarassed. I don't ever want that to happen again.

  13. Nice haul! Ummm, I think we have the same skin tone. I'm just wondering if you have NC40, NC42, C40 and C4 in Studio Fix powder and if you could swatch them on your skin for comparison. I have the NCs and one looks dark and orange (NC42) for nanay, one is light enough but pinky and peachy, (NC40) I always add a little amount of yellow powder to make it suit me. I'm just a Filipina girl starting to buy higher end makeup, TIA!

  14. @008i800, hello tia thanks for dropping by.
yes I do agree with you NC42 might be too orange or too dark. C40 is perfect. I will try to take swatches of those when I visit the MAC counter again. ^_^
