Haul

Been online shopping lately, since I always find quality cosmetics sold at really affordable rates at either ebay.ph or multiply.com. There's more haul to come this December since discounts are everywhere.

This is the first part of my haul, since the other items I ordered didn't arrive yet. I also bought a couple of stuff from SM City Cebu which I haven't had time to post yet.

I finally got my hands on this Milani Face Powder Multitasker in Light Tan. I've read and watched a lot of great reviews about this product and the best thing is that it's affordable!

I have been so curious about Eyelash Serums especially when they came out at Etude House. Unfortunately, they are quite pricey, so when I accidentally stumbled on this Wet n Wild Megalash Clinical Serum, I knew I just had to try it.

I won a $20 Sigma Gift Certificate a couple and months ago and I decided to order the Sigma F05 Small Contour Brush since it costs $14 + Int'l Shipping (I used the %10 Off code). That's all my $20 could buy. LOL Anyway, it only took 20 days for my Sigma brush to arrive, which is quite impressive. Most of my international online purchases usually takes 30 to 60 days to arrive.

REVIEW: Sigma P88 Precision Flat Angled Brush

It has been a while ever since I started using the Sigma P88 Brush. I got this together with my Sigma F88 Brush, which I already did a review on last October. I took my time in learning how to use this brush effectively since it's not your typical concealer brush.

What I like about it...
* High quality brush for the price
* Unique type of brush, since I haven't seen any dupe for this yet

* Does not bleed even when washed for the first time
* Does not shed even when washed several times with a brush cleaner or liquid soap
* Very soft and dense bristles which gives out a smooth finish
* Works really well with liquid or cream concealers
* Fits perfectly around the contours of the eye and nose
* Makes a great brush to clean eyeshadow fall outs especially in the under eye area

What I don't like...
* not available locally
* expensive for just one piece of brush

My rating: 4 / 5

I love using the Sigma P88 brush on my clients especially in the under eye area since I use it to smooth out the concealer and clean out the eyeshadow fall outs at the same time. I would definitely recommend the Sigma P88, it will be a great addition to your makeup brush collection.

A1 Concert Experience

I haven't posted anything much lately and I've got several reviews and swatches pending. (sigh) I apologize for not posting as much, I've been terribly busy. December is coming and I'll be even more busy since I'm already fully booked for makeup gigs. In addition to that, new projects for my new position as an IT Analyst just keeps on coming. Sorry for blabbing too much , LOL! I guess that is what blogs are for. ^_^

South Border was the front Act during the concert, it was such a surprise because I didn't know about it till the concert started, the crowed was just screaming in excitement when they started to play all their popular songs like "Kahit Kailan" and more.

Mark was so friendly and accommodating. We can throw jokes at him and he'd joke back. He asked us to teach him a few Cebuano words and easily got it. This laid back and down to earth guy is just adorable. ^_^

Christian was a bit timid and a little bit strict compared to Mark but definitely approachable. I was nervous when they told me that I'd be handling his makeup, good thing I did it right, thanks to my bestie Raine for the help and tips. She applied the makeup for all three of them a day before the concert for the Meet and Greet event at Ayala Center Cebu, so she already knew what they need and want for their looks.

Khymm was the one who applied makeup on Ben, unfortunately we didn't have a chance to take a photo because Ben, only let in one makeup artist in his hotel room since his Girlfriend Sara was there also getting ready for the concert.

It was an unforgettable experience and a lot of firsts for me. First time meeting an International Celebrity in person, First time meeting a local band, First time at a Concert, and First time working with foreigners.

A few more days to go and the popular Boy Band A1 is holding a concert here in Cebu this coming November 23, 2012 at Waterfront Hotel & Casino Lahug. It is a benefit concert for the underprivileged children here Cebu.

A1 is an English-Norwegian pop group who already sold 3 million records worldwide. Among the groups' most popular songs are Caught In The Middle, Like A Rose, Heaven By Your Side & a lot more.

The group already visited last year and still wants to continue helping the underprivileged children here in Cebu, thus the reason why they came back.
