REVIEW: Korres Face Primer

9:32:00 AM

I've long been searching for a good face primer to try and luckily I found the Korres Face Primer in one Pammy's Blog Sale, so I bought it without having second thoughts.  I've used this face primer both on myself and my clients and it's such an awesome product.

What I like about it...
* it feels really light, like a lightweight water-based moisturizer
* has a very mild citrus scent, which I find refreshing
* non-greasy yet very moisturizing, so I usually skip my moisturizer if I use this
* my face seemed smoother and more even after applying
* makes larger pores appear smaller
* kept my makeup looking fresh all day, I work for 9 hours in an office environment.
* made my makeup last longer
* it prevented my foundation from settling into fine lines
* I love the fact that it's a non-silicone based primer
* mineral oil free, which means it won't clog your pores
* didn't experience allergies or irritation
* very simple yet effective squeeze type tube packaging

What I don't like...
* expensive
* not available locally

My rating: 4.5 / 5

I have normal skin and I find that this really works well on me. I've also used the Korres Face Primer on Combination to Oily skin type individuals and it still works great but the makeup lasts longer on normal to dry skin types.  I know this primer is rather expensive but you can definitely get your money's worth.

I'd buy the bigger tube if I can afford it...LOL! I'd highly recommend this face primer to everyone. This should be perfect for ladies with sensitive skin it's Silicone free, Paraben free, Mineral Oil free, Propylene Glycol free, and Ethanolamine free. And it's also Ecocert Certified!

Do share your experiences on this product if you have used it.

Until next time.

Cheerios!

  1. For a primer, it is kind of expensive. But since it's all natural, it's probably good for your skin.

  3. I don't use a primer but I'd want to try this... Or maybe L'Oreal Base Magique if this one is too expensive. :P

    Wow, that's one heck of a primer, given that you have a lot of good things to say about it. :)

  5. @Jess, yes it does make a difference. your face feels smoother and your makeup looks fresh for hours and hours. You'll really notice the difference especially if use foundation.

    @Janine, the Loreal Base Magique is an okay primer, not that great but works fine. What I really love about this korres primer is that it's made from natural ingredients, which means it's good for your skin.

    @Gie, this works okay on eyes as well, but if you just have a problem on your lids, might as well buy an eyelid primer rather than getting the face primer.

  7. I love Korres products because they're natural. I used their wild rose night cream & it works wonders. Keeps my skin so hydrated throughout the night & it also brightens my skin.
