September BDJBox 2014
Unlike other beauty fanatics, I don't subscribe to the BDJBox on a monthly basis. I usually just subscribe to 1 - 3 BDJ Boxes in a year. And it's usually very random, depending if I have some extra moolah to spend. But for this month's box, I really feel lucky that it's packed with a lot of full sized body and hair products.
First up are full size makeup items from Fanny Serrano Cosmetics. I got the FS Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Brown (P299)and the FS Single Eyeshadow in Olive Tree (P150). I've already tried their gel liner last year. You can read my full review HERE.
I got two full sized Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner in Damage Control and Dry Rescue variants which costs (P134 each). These are quite good really, as it does feel like my hair is healthier every single time I use it. I don't have any objections to these products since they are essential for my long hair and honestly I tend to use up conditioners fast.
Then There's two packs of Dove Intense Repair Daily Hair Vitamin (P75), which is quite good and makes my hair feel light, frizz free and manageable. I'm actually thinking of bringing these to my next trip, since it's very convenient and easy to use. I also got 2 pieces of Pond's Flawless White Dewy Rose Gel (P150 each). I'm really curious about this, not too sure if I like it though.
I was running out of body lotions, so these came in perfect timing. I got the Jegens Daily Moisture body lotion (P153) and Jergens Ultra Healing lotion (P88). I really like how the daily moisture variant hydrates and makes my skin feel smooth after using. It's feels a little thick but not sticky at all, keeps my skin moisturized for hours, and it smells good too.
Then there's a 180ml bottle of the Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock SPF 36 (P390). Although this product came in an off season, I'm still glad to see this product in the box since it's great for everyday use. Especially since the weather has been erratic lately.
Also got 4 sachets of Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Wash (P85 for 50ml) and Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Toner (P60 for 60ml) I'm actually excited to try these since I haven't tried any skin care product from Godiva yet. I'm really curious to see how these would compare to the Celeteque Brightening Facial Wash and Brightening Toner which I've been now.
Lastly, there is a PAC Free Make Over gift certificate worth P1500. Honestly, I don't think I'll be able to use this, I will probably give it away to whoever wants it. hehe
So the question remains, was the September BDJ Box worth it? YES, definitely! they usually don't give out this much full size products in one go, so I feel really good for getting this box. It's only Php580 a month and I got 3x worth since the box value adds up to Php1,858 pesos.
