REVIEW: ELF Mineral 4 Piece Bamboo Brush Set (Travel Size)

6:49:00 PM

I won this elf travel size bamboo brush set from Kissenmakeup during her first blog giveaway earlier this month, which you can check out HERE. I've used this for a couple of weeks now and I'm just in love with it.

*Blending Eye Brush
*Mini Kabuki Brush
*Brush Bag

Retail Price: $10.00

 ELF Mineral Bamboo Complexion Brush
I've been using this as my blush brush, which explains the pinkish tips in the photo above. This is just fantastic!

  ELF Mineral Bamboo Mini Kabuki Brush
 I don't really use this because I find it too small, and I think it defeats the purpose of it being a kabuki brush.

 ELF Mineral Bamboo Blending Eye Brush
All I can say is that this is an awesome blending brush, it's a little dense which makes it easier to blend harsh edges of your eyeshadow.  This also works well if used as an eyeshadow brush.

 ELF Mineral Bamboo Concealer Brush
 I love this concealer brush, it's super soft yet dense and doesn't leave streaky lines when I apply concealer.

What I like about it...
* inexpensive
* perfectly sized travel brush, unlike other brushes these are not too small
* sturdy and wooden handles
* very soft bristles
* eco friendly
* has a free brush bag
* they are not flimsy at all

What I don't like...
* not yet available locally here in Philippines but can be bought from online sellers
* I find the mini Kabuki brush useless, it's too small and defeats the purpose of it being a kabuki

My rating: 4.5 / 5

Overall I really love this brush set, it's perfect to carry along everywhere I go. Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes! This will be a perfect addition to your makeup bag.

This is it for now.

Cheerios!
