The Mac Powder Kiss lipstick formulation is a very comfortable creamy matte. It is lightweight, glides on easily and has excellent color payoff. It has the type of texture that is perfect for gradient lips. As the name suggests, it has some sort of a powdery finish.
The matte lipstick bullet casing is a nice feat as well. Makes it easier to tell apart the Powder Kiss from the OG mac lippies we've always known.
Mac Powder Kiss Devoted to Chili Swatch
The shade is rather similar to the OG Mac Chili lipstick as seen in the photo above. The shade Devoted to Chili is just a tad bit softer in color compared to the latter.
I would also like to point out, that the inner part of the tube has some sort of foam protection. So that's definitely something new.
Overall, I'd say this was a good purchase for me. If you're a matte lipstick lover, then you will absolutely enjoy this. Mac Cosmetics is really upping up their game with this one, as they adapted to the weightless lipstick that delivers a romantic blur of effortless soft-focus colour that Asians enjoy!
The only down side to this, is it does not last long on the lips. It easily fades when you eat or drink so you will need constant re-application. Other than that, this is definitely #hollierecommended
