REVIEW: Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion

8:18:00 AM

Product Info from Burt's Bees
Moisture for dry skin is abundant here.
98.3% Natural

How it Works
Indulge your skin with a sweet touch of nature. Creamy milk joins hard-working honey to soften and smooth your skin. Rich in sunflower and coconut oils and glycerin, this lightweight lotion absorbs quickly to nourish and restore moisture, leaving skin looking and feeling healthier, naturally.

How to Use It

Apply generously to body as often as needed.
Do not apply on children under 3 years.

I got this 2 months ago while I was searching for a hand cream since my hands were really dry and cracked at the time. It's much better now though. I have been using this but not everyday, only when there's a need to that's why I carry this with me all the time.

What I like about it...
* inexpensive, I got this travel size bottle on ebay for only Php 76.00
* does a good job on moisturizing my hands / skin
* has thicker texture
* not sticky
* absorbs fast on my skin
* has a sweet honey fragrance (but it might be too strong for others)
* made from 98.3% Natural ingredients

What I don't like...
* the packaging is awful, the lid is just a big hole and the cap always fall every time I open it. (I'm clumsy)
* the fragrance isn't something you'll like at first try, it takes a lot of getting used to.

My rating: 3 / 5

In conclusion, this is just a "so so" product. It's not that good, just average. I'm still on the hunt for a better hand cream or hand lotion. I currently have my eyes on the Human Nature products. I recently emptied my Human Nature Body Butter Mango Scent - Cocoa Butter & Goat's Milk. I will try the Human Nature Hand and Body lotion and see how that goes.

By the way, I've read from this Makeup and Beauty Blog that the NEW version of the Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion is much better than the old one. (the one I have is the old version)

For Philippine residents, you can check out Burt's Bees products at any "Beauty Bar" branch.

This is it for now.

Cheerios!

  2. I've seen this several times on eBay and wondered if it's better than Palmer's Cocoa Butter which helps so much with my dry skin. Thanks for your review, will give this a pass. :)
