Updated Skincare Routine for Combination Skin 2019

9:51:00 AM

Hello ladies! Just wanted to share with you my updated skincare routine for 2019. If you have been following me on Instagram, you have probably seen that I have tried so many skin care products for this year alone. I have been having breakouts again so I have been using minimal products on my face, in the efforts to calm it down.

So for this last quarter of 2019, I will continue to use the products above. For your reference I have Combination skin. I actually have other skin care products lined up to try once I finish all these.

I start first by removing all my makeup with the Bifesta BrightUp Cleansing Lotion which I bought in Tokyo, Japan last year.  For removing my everyday makeup I prefer water-based makeup removers that's why I love this stuff. Also, I would like to quickly mention, that I had recommended this exact same product to the Datumou-recipe team and they were so kind to feature me in one of their articles. I then second cleanse using the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam. I have mentioned this cleansing foam several times already on my social media sites and it remains to be a favorite. I have tried to other cleansers and I just keep coming back to this.

Next is the Thayers Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Formula Alcohol-Free Toner in the Cucumber variant. I know that the most popular is the Rose version but I really don't like the smell of roses, it gives me a headache most of the time. I just like how mild this toner is and I use it for both day and night. It doesn't sting and it seemed to have helped in clearing out my breakouts.

Lastly, I then apply the Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop. This is basically a Vitamin C Serum with 5% Vitamin C concentrate plus other skin loving ingredients. I just love how mild and effective this serum is on lightening my pimple scars. I store this on my refrigerator and only apply this at night time.  You can read my full review HERE

How about you ladies, have you tried any of these products before? Do let me know if you have skincare recommendations, I would be glad to check it out.

Until next time.

Cheerios!
