REVIEW: Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Facial Cleanser

9:06:00 PM

This is the facial wash I bought after I emptied out my celeteque facial wash. I used this for 3 days and guess what happened... I had another set of breakouts! yayks!  The breakouts I suffered from the Sansan face powder hasn't even cleared out yet and here comes another one. (sigh)

What I like about it...
* inexpensive
* fragrance-free
* lathers very well
* my face doesn't feel dry after washing

What I don't like...
* After using this for 3 days (morning and night) I had allergies and breakouts. There were four big bumps on my right cheek and it was really itchy. I stopped using it right away and my face stopped itching. The bumps stopped increasing as well. So it' very evident that this product caused the breakouts and allergies.
* It says hypoallergenic, that's why I gave it a try. Big Mistake!
I honestly thought this would help clear out my pimples... only made it worse.

My rating: 1/ 5

This is a definite fail for me. Too bad though, there's so much product left on the tube and it will just go to waste. I am now using Human Nature Hydrating Facial Wash with Moringa & Aloe Vera extract, so far so good.

Have you had any bad experience with a facial wash before?

This is it for now.

  7. ayyy so sad... :( some products marked as hypo allergenic will still have a tendency to break you out that's why i'm sometimes scared to try new products.

  10. @sugar sugar yes, so true. I hate myself for always wanting to try out new products.

    @Hazel, I had friend who encountered a breakout too with this product. there must be something in this that causes breakouts.

    @Anonymous, I've used cetaphil before, that's also what my son uses. But I find it too mild for me, I feel like it doesn't clean at all.
